June to October – Best Time for Wildlife Viewing The dry season from June to October is considered the ideal time to visit Arusha National Park. The forests become lush and vibrant, waterfalls flow more strongly, and the entire park transforms into a beautiful green landscape. Although occasional heavy rains can affect some activities, the scenery is at its most spectacular. This season is particularly rewarding for bird watchers, as migratory birds are present and the wetlands are full of activity. Visitor numbers are lower, creating a peaceful atmosphere, and many lodges in the surrounding area offer attractive seasonal rates. November to December – Fresh Landscapes and Fewer Crowds The short rainy season from November to December brings occasional showers that refresh the park without significantly affecting most safari activities. Wildlife remains active, and the fresh vegetation creates beautiful scenery for photography. With fewer tourists than during the peak season, visitors can enjoy a more relaxed and intimate safari experience.
